A project to expand prefectural industrial products overseas is also underway

After the machine was installed, it began though hunting for talented professionals trial operation in January 2017. Just as they were exploring the possibilities of “JETvarnish3D,” Miyagi Package was simultaneously working on a project called “Overseas Sales Development Project for Okinawa-made Industrial Products.” “This is a project where Okinawa Prefecture assists in the overseas expansion of Okinawa-made industrial products. Benefits of the introduction

Upgraded Origami Samurai design

The “JETvarnish3D” introduced by Miyagi Package is an option that adds iFOIL to the main body. In addition to spot varnish coating, it is also possible to apply foil processing on top of it. “We tried this out by applying 3D gold leaf processing to various parts of the body of the Origami Samurai,” says Sakihara. The three-dimensional gold leaf processing stood out against the form of the armored warrior, and the realism of the armor increased dramatically. “It is difficult to process foil in such a fine area. It would cost a lot of money to do it with foil stamping,” says Mori. “This processing has greatly upgraded the design. I think we have achieved higher added value and differentiation than ever before,” says Sakihara. “The timing of the introduction of ‘JETvarnish3D’ was just right. It even feels like ‘JETvarnish3D’ was made for this Origami Samurai,” recalls Mori.
